We are offering a paid RN student nurse internship for up to 10 weeks (end of May- Aug 9, 2024) at our vibrant TCU transitional care unit at Martin Luther Care Center in Bloomington,  Minnesota. Ebenezer Nurse Interns will be mentored one-on-one with a registered nurse to gain hands-on nursing experiences to improve your technical, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills with sub-acute and/or long term care patients.  Located along woodlands/wetlands in east Bloomington, MN near public transportation, 35 W/Cedar Ave 77 and Mall of America. Hiring Process & Position information:

• Position will work a minimum of 32 hours in a week - 320 hours for the summer 
• May require a weekend rotation.  Shift options include straight Days, or if desired straight evenings

• Currently enrolled in an accredited ADN or BSN/BAN RN nursing program and will graduate Dec 2024 or by Summer/Sept 2025.
• Applicants will have completed their junior year or have finished Two nursing clinical rotations by the start of Nurse internship and cannot have an RN licensure.
• Current BLS/CPR for healthcare providers certification by start date and remain current through August 2024.
• Able to attend required orientation days and on site nursing orientation during their first week (typically 4-5 days most likely end of May)
• Able to work on average 64 hours/two weeks
• Able to work with a diverse population of residents and coworkers at including subacute/geriatric 
• Ability to communicate effectively with empathy and kindness for others
• Desire to grow with Ebenezer and pursue a new graduate RN role with our organization
• Prefer: previous experience in a patient/resident support role
• If you accept a Summer Nurse Intern job offer, then need to enroll/finish a internship course at a Minnesota based school of nursing Summer 2024
