Job title: Hospice Clinical Director

Job location: Minneapolis, MN

Hours: Full Time

Job responsibilities: The Clinical Director of Hospice position serves as a leader, providing direct supervision for direct care staff. This position services as a management position with both clinical and management responsibility for his/her team and serves as a liaison to and conduit between the CEO, Clinical Nurse Managers, clinical staff on his/her respective team, patients and their families, and the community. The Clinical Director of Hospice participates in the implementation of clinical policies and procedures, and carries out the organization’s purposes in a manner consistent with the goals, objectives and established practices.

Qualifications:

• Previous supervisory experience
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required
• Must have the ability to direct and supervise staff and lead in a professional manner
• Current Minnesota Driver’s License, insurance and daily access to reliable vehicle
• Minimum of 3 years’ hospice, long term care or community health experience
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Excellent with relationship development internally and externally
• Ability to think critically
• Ability to network within the community
• Strong knowledge of hospice regulations including CMS, state licensure and conditions of participation
• Ability to respect confidentiality
