Full time, Monday through Friday from 8:30 am - 5 pm (with some flexibility) benefit eligible role.

Wage: $20 - 24 depending on experience.

The Director of Resident Engagement leads meaningful engagement activities with our residents under the direction of our Quality of Life Director. The position is focused on in home daily engagement, community outings and participating in volunteer visits in our Homes.

Job Details:

• Leads hands-on programming and activity support with residents
• Assures that the activities on the Activity Calendar are completed in each home
• Assists in developing activities to coordinate with the Life Stories of each resident to enhance everyday joy and quality of life
• Mentors our caregivers to encourage comfort and fun while participating in scheduled activities
• Brings new creative ideas to help support the activity calendar, including developing an active volunteer base

Qualifications:

• Self-motivated and self-directed individual
• Enthusiastic and engaging with people of all ages
• Creative thinker who loves sharing new ideas
• Enjoys arts, crafts, baking, and music
• Music background preferred, but not required
• Experience working in a memory care or other care setting such as day care or preschool preferred, but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• HHA/CNA experience preferred, but not required
• Basic computer experience with Microsoft Office
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
