Business Administrator

Manages the accounting functions for the Cooperative, responsibilities include:

  • Maintain Cooperative banking
  • Monthly billing for Cooperative Members and AR
  • Manage AP
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and statements and develop agenda for Finance Committee Meeting (take minutes during meeting)
  • Take minutes for quarterly Investment Committee
  • Maintain all records for committee funds
  • Works with Executive Manager to prepare the Annual Budget
  • Work with the Auditor and provide necessary documents, also prepare annual taxes
  • Prepare Annual 1099 for Members and outside contractors
  • Prepare the Annual 1096 required documents
  • Coordinate and prepare Member and Cooperative Property tax payments
  • Assist with HR responsibilities and payroll


  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated financial accounting experience
  • Able to work independently – meets deadlines, detail oriented, can work in a very busy office environment
  • Excellent computer skills and experience with Office 365 and Financial Software
  • Works well with older adults
