TowerLight Senior Living is located in historic St. Louis Park, Minnesota. Only 10 minutes from downtown Minneapolis, we are near public transportation and the crossroads of Highways 7 and 100. Our community offers 115 units of beautifully appointed Independent Living Apartments, innovative Assisted Living Apartments, state-of-the art Memory Care and Enhanced Care Suites (as well as an intergenerational day care). Our tenured team ensures a strong commitment to delivering high end comfort and the best senior care available for our residents.

The Activities Director is responsible for planning and implementing a quality leisure/social events program designed to assist senior residents in maintaining their personal potential both physically and mentally.   Position will oversee two activity assistants. 

This is a full time position and may require evenings and weekends as needed. Part of MOD weekend (one saturday or one sunday -- every 7 weeks).   Benefit eligible ( PTO, Medical, Dental, Retirement, Tuition reimbursement) https://www.ebenezercares.org/benefits.html

Responsibilities/Job Description

  • Develops program and activities reflective of resident interests
  • Assists in meeting the psychosocial needs of residents
  • Coordinates community volunteers
  • Manages and directs Activities Assistants

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Recreational Therapy or related required.
  • Three to five years previous experience preferred
  • Must be able to drive a 14 passenger van
