Volunteers of America National Services is seeking applications for the position of Vice President of Clinical Services to join our Corporate Team in Eden Prairie, MN! 

Summary of Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:
The primary purpose of the Vice President of Clinical Services for Volunteers of America is to assess, plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and oversee all aspects of the nursing operations to include clinical and financial areas of nursing department within the Volunteers of America organization.  The Vice President of Clinical Services will support and focus attention on the core Volunteers of America National Services business as well as other new initiatives.  The Vice President of Clinical Services is responsible for coordinating, directing and supervising the Clinical Consultants within the Volunteers of America organization.

Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support all skilled care facilities and assisted living agencies within the Volunteers of America organization.
  • Support the development and training of clinical systems, tools policies and procedures.
  • Assure implementation and compliance with VOANS clinical systems, tools, policies and procedures.
  • Oversee training and development and evaluation of new nursing administration.
  • Monitor and assist with development and implementation of operating budgets and capital forecasts.
  • Influence change in a positive manner within the health care arena through involvement with trade associations, regulatory agencies and state executive and legislative officials. 
  • Assist in recruitment of senior clinical staff.
  • Manages clinical consultants and staff education consultants.

Eligibility Criteria:
Qualification Required: 

  • Current Registered Nurse License (RN) in the state of Arizona, Colorado, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio and Florida.

Experience Required: 

  • Registered Nurse (Bachelor’s Degree) with minimal five (5) years previous experience as a Nurse Consultant or Director of Clinical Services for a major health care organization.
  • Ability to work flexible hours. Ability to travel is required.
